We’re excited to announce the release of Max Addons 1.17.0: a feature-packed update focused on improving flexibility, interactivity, and performance!
This update introduces a new way to build dynamic content using what we call the Nested Toggle, along with several improvements to Fluent Cart, WooCommerce, and multiple elements.

Toggle Switch Element + Toggle Content Element = Nested Toggle
One important thing to understand: there isn’t any new or separate element called “Nested Toggle.” You simply use the new Toggle Switch and Toggle Content elements together. The switch handles the interaction, and the content element holds whatever you want to display.
What Makes Nested Toggle Different from the Existing Toggle Element?
Max Addons already includes a Toggle element that allows you to create interactive toggle buttons using either custom content or saved templates.
That works well for simple use cases. However, the new approach removes those limitations.
With Toggle Switch + Toggle Content, you’re not limited to just text or saved templates. You can design full layouts directly inside the builder, like sections with pricing tables, images, headings, buttons, or anything else.
Understanding How Nested Toggle Works
Toggle Switch Element
Toggle Switch Element is responsible for switching content.
- It works as a separate element.
- It controls which version of content is visible.
- It can switch multiple elements across the page at once
- It does not limit your layout or structure.
So instead of switching one small piece of content, you can switch entire sections at once.
Toggle Content
Toggle Content Element is where you design what gets displayed. It supports nesting multiple elements inside. You can add pricing table, image, button, icon and more elements.
Instead of adding custom text or selecting a template, you can now build the content visually, exactly how you want.
What is Nested Toggle (In Simple Terms)
When you connect:
- A Toggle Switch (to control)
- With Toggle Content (to display structured content)
You get a Nested Toggle setup. It allows you to:
- Create fully custom layouts by nesting different elements
- Switch entire sections, not just content blocks.
- Maintain complete control over design and structure.
This approach gives you much more flexibility compared to the older toggle element. You are no longer limited to simple text switching or predefined templates.
More Enhancements, Improvements & Bug Fixes
Along with the Nested Toggle setup, we’ve also done several improvements, powerful integrations, and important fixes across different Max Addons elements!
Fluent Cart & WooCommerce Improvements
You can now do more with new query types and additional Fluent Cart conditions, giving you greater control over how dynamic product data is displayed.
New Query Types
- Related Products query loop option to display related items from Fluent Cart
- Recently Viewed Products query loop option to show the products users recently viewed
New Fluent Cart Conditions
You now get more control over when and where content is displayed:
- Product Type condition
- Is Shop Page condition
- Customer Total Spent condition
- Product In Stock condition
Enhancements Across Elements
We’ve made several improvements across different elements to give you better control and smoother performance.
Lottie element is now easier to use. You can upload JSON files directly to your media library, trigger actions when an animation finishes, and use the new Click Mode to control how animations start.
Video Gallery element now supports YouTube Shorts, so you can easily showcase short videos. We’ve also added lazy loading for thumbnails, which helps your pages load faster.
Along with these updates, we’ve improved overall performance to make everything run more efficiently.
